Dear Friends,

Town Hall belongs to you. Whether you’re inspired by poetry slams or policy panels, rocket science or rocking out, you’ll find your passions on our stages and your community inside our doors. Town Hall exists to feed your curiosity, to connect you to our city, to explore our history, and to imagine what kind of future we want to create together. It’s your Town Hall. And when we reopen in just a few months that will be truer than ever. But we need your help right now to cross the finish line.

Town Hall is in a transformational moment. Twenty years ago this March, our century-old building was saved and our organization was formed to protect it as a shared resource for our whole community. That community has come together with $25 million to secure the future of Town Hall and preserve it for the next generation. We’re in the homestretch of the campaign, but we still have a little way to go. We’re asking you to take the lead right now by taking the stage. A gift of any size makes a big difference for Town Hall and for our renovation, and if you give a new gift of $500 or more your name will be inscribed on a custom-crafted plaque on the Great Hall stage—a reminder every time we come together that Town Hall truly belongs to all of us.

This unique naming opportunity is limited. We’ll open it to the community at large starting January 1, but we’re starting with you, our members. Please make Town Hall part of your year-end giving. If we can come together and raise $200,000 in new gifts by the end of February, a generous donor will match it dollar-for-dollar. By taking the stage this, you’ll seed the campaign and help ensure we can meet that challenge. As a thank you for giving by December 31, we’ll invite you to a special event before our building officially reopens.

Thank you for making us who we are and for investing in our shared future. This building—its new and transformed stages, its gathering places, its accessibility-focused design, all the new things we can do here—it’s all yours. It’s your Town Hall.

With warm gratitude,

Wier Harman
Executive Director
